I have this theory that the guardians in minecraft are moddled after HP lovecraft 's elder things or cthuli. They live in undersea monuments, share a resemblance and shoot lasers, and definitely seem extraterrestrial in origin

Did you know that the Wither will actually take thorns damage from the guardian if it manages to hit it? This is despite the fact that the Wither attacks with a ranged attack.
